Not to be confused with the spacecraft Voyager 1 and 2, the concept of Voyager for this song and video means traveler on a Great Journey in our minds. As was done with the spacecraft, we dream of these magnificent places within our solar system and beyond as a destination for mankind and not merely robotic explorers, even though they have accomplished great feats and even now are leaving the boundaries of our solar system. I wrote this song during the summer of 2013 and am seeing it come to life here in Feb. of 2014. If you only listen to the music, it can seem to take you across vast distances of space and time as one may imagine, while doing so. At this point in time we are limited as fragile human beings in making the long journey into space, to faraway places, that we may only speculate what they may be like. Untold stories may someday be revealed about atmospheres, chemicals, and compounds and conditions necessary for life to exist in other places. As mentioned in the video, at this time most of us may journey to these places in our dreams, and because we have the ability to imagine, we all can be a Voyager to far away worlds, sitting comfortably in the safety of our homes. So explore with me now, the exotic otherworldly places of our beautiful solar system in your mind, as one listens to the music and for a brief time, may each one of us become a Voyager. This song was written in memory of Dr. Carl Sagan, and is also dedicated to my best friend, Ted Giehl....
