2022 Subaru Ascent: What&New? The 2022 Subaru Ascent has the same design and look of the previous 2021 Subaru Ascent. They did however change a few minor features along with a new Subaru Ascent trim level called the Ascent Onyx Edition. The new 2022 Subaru Ascent will come in a new color option called Autumn Green Metallic. This has replaced the previous color called Brilliant Bronze Metallic, which is no longer available for 2022. Another new enhancement for the 2022 Subaru Ascent is the heated steering wheel. Now in 2022 the heated steering wheel covers the entire portion of the wheel for added comfort.
