Guiro Solo / Demo - Advanced Techniques - "LP Super Guiro" (Latin Percussion)

Demonstration of basic and advanced techniques on the güiro with a short, groovy solo at 142 bpm. Not a drum tutorial / class / lesson on how to play the or beginner playing techniques for cha-cha-cha or guaracha, but I hope it can help you find new ideas, for that incredible Latin instrument, a (apparently) simple scraped idiophone with tremendous appeal!! Playing here the Super Güiro, not sounding (far from it actually!) as warm as the original (and fragile) Cuban guiro, but balanced, reliable and literally indestructible! no high/small percussion is rudimentary... :):))) Enjoy!
