2004 Chevrolet Blazer Xtreme The Chevrolet K5 Blazer was based on the C/K pickup chassis and introduced in 1969. In 1983 the S10 pickup was introduced and of course the S10 Blazer mid sized compact SUV model followed suit. The S10 Blazer was produced until 2005 with 2 generations in its existence so this &belongs to the second generation and was one of the last produced. It is also the "Xtreme" edition which was only a package offered on the 2 doors making it very unique in that most SUVs of any size were no longer being produced with less than 4 doors. In fact, even outside of the SUV market in cars you will see 2 door models slowly disappearing as we go into the 2000s. The Xtreme edition offered some additional body styling&you couldn&get on the standard trim levels. The Blazer has been well maintained throughout its life and the Dark Blue paint looks good. The glass is all good as well with dark tinted rear windows and slightly lighter front glass. It rides on its original Xtreme wheels with Yokohama YK580 tires. Pop the hood on this Blazer and that&where the fun really begins. Originally they were powered by a 4.3L V6 but this one is now sporting a 5.7 LS1 motor. The conversion was professionally done by LSX Unlimited in 2018 and runs great. During the rebuild it received an all new cam, lifters, seals, etc. It was completely redone less than 10,000 miles ago.
