Make a Li-Ion battery charger or powerbank for just $4. You can use one or multiple batteries in parallel to make power banks. Works great and is easy to use. This is a safe way to charge your 3.7v Li-Ion batteries (18650 cells like the ones I have salvaged for free). Great for many project ideas including portable battery packs, cell phone charger & much more. This video highlights another awesome project part that has many built in extras. It has a step up converter for dual 5v 1A and 2.1A output; perfect for most cell phones. It comes with integrated protection to prevent over-discharge, over-charge, overload / short circuit protection, over current protection and over temperature protection. Plust there is a built in LCD panel to display the status of the batteries.
