STL TONES Amphub 5153 - Metal

The december update of the STL Tones Amphub featured the all mighty 5153 amp, based on the 5150 III, that has come to be one of the stapels in modern metal. I have the 100W head my self and I was really impressed how good the sim sounded compared to the real thing! Signal chain: Hands - pick - strings - pickup (Fishman Fluence Modern) - Solar A1.6 Vinter - Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 An EQ is set before the amp sim to shape the DI to my pleasing. Slight EQ and multiband compression is added post, and I have the awesome clip plugin Flatline from Submission Audio on the guitar bus for volume control and slight clipping. Drums are programmed with Toontrack EZDrummer2 - Modern Metal EZX with some additional external samples on kick and snare. Bass is programmed with Submission Audio Eurobass 2
