Yamaha MODX 8 Piano & Choir with Mellotron Samples

The Yamaha MODX is a very customizable keyboard. Being able to load samples into the keyboard, assign them to keys you desire, and then running them through the internal effects and envelope to really shape the sound! The patch I use in this video is Mellotron choir samples running through the built-in ADSR on the Yamaha MODX. I have two Mellotron choirs one with a slow attack and a decay that doesn&allow the sample to end abruptly since the Mellotron sample only lasts for about 7 or 8 seconds... The second sample has a fast attack and the natural decay which ends abruptly. The piano used is the CFX Stage along with choir service. The super knob, controlled with a foot pedal, changes the volumes of the two Mellotron samples and of the choir service patch. When one of the Mellotron samples goes up in volume the other goes down. It also adds or removes the reverb on the piano.
