2015-2017 ford f150 2.7 heavy smoke on start up, we replace the oil feed tube to the driver side turbo relating to tsb 19-2188. Oil tube FU7Z-9T516-A Stud W716383-5437 Nut W714870_9430 Issue: Some 2015-2017 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 2.7L EcoBoost engine may exhibit excessive white or blue smoke from the exhaust at start up after a cold soak. This may be due to oil entering the left hand turbocharger turbine housing. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the left hand turbocharger oil supply tube with a revised part. Action: Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all of the following criteria: • 2015-2017 F-150 • 2.7L EcoBoost engine • Customer concern of excessive white or blue smoke from the exnaust at start uo after a cold soak. Service Procedure 1. Does the customer concern include oil consumption, drivability symptoms, or any other concern along with smoke from the exnaust? (1). Yes - this&does not apply. Refer to the Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnostic (PC/ED) Manual for normal diagnosis. (2). No - proceed to Step 2. 2. Replace the left hand turbocharger oil supply tube. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-04E.
