Restored Polymoog Synthesizer Demo

This is a quick demo video of a Polymoog that was restored by us. We are well aware that this is not the exact Gary Numan patch. We do not think that this sounds in any way like the Gary Numan patch. We understand that you hate everything about the Polymoog that is not that exact Gary Numan patch. Thanks for the feedback. That¬ what we&showing off here. For those who can get past any disappointment that this is not the exact Gary Numan patch, here&some more fun info relevant to this video. The Vox Humana patch on the Polymoog Keyboard (The base model of Polymoog, not the model shown in this video) used a special band pass filter which contributed to the sound of that patch. The Polymoog Synthesizer model did not include this filter board and the customer wanted us to add it to this synth. Here we have built a new Vox Humana filter board and transplanted it into this Polymoog Synthesizer unit. We have replaced the "organ" filter board with a Vox Human filter circuit. All sounds you&hearing are passing through this filter board. On this unit, we have replaced the power supply, all opamps and CMOS chips(about 100 chips total), all polarized capacitors, and we have rebuilt the keyboard mechanism. Since many of the original LEDs were dead, we replaced all of the LEDs with blue LEDs at the customers request.
