Delonghi ECAM 23.450.S teardown and infuser carriage repair

My old espresso machine had been acting up so I decided to take it apart and see if I could do something about it. There was a a lot of play on the carrier mechanism shaft. Turns out the nut that tightens it to a sort of bearing had gotten loose. I hope this helps anyone who also is having trouble with their Delonghi machine.
