How to use (real) guitar pedals in GarageBand iOS (iPhone/iPad) GarageBand on iPhone and iPad includes a heap of great amp simulators and guitar pedals (stomp boxes), but what if you want to use your own guitar pedals or effect processors with GarageBand? Well you can, and in this video, I show you how to connect your own real guitar pedals to your iPhone or iPad using an iRig or similar guitar interface. To connect your pedals to your iPhone or iPad and record in GarageBand, all you need to do is: 1. Connect an iRig or similar guitar interface to your iPhone or iPad 2. Connect a 1/4" guitar/instrument cable from your pedal to the iRig or interface 3. Connect a 1/4" guitar/instrument cable from your guitar to the input of your pedal 4. Open GarageBand and set up your input 5. Record your guitar! == Related Videos == iRig Comparison from The GarageBand Guide - == Pete Recommends == Full list of the audio and video gear I use is at: Note - Links provided in this video description may be affiliate links, meaning that if you choose to purchase products using these links, a small commission may be paid to me for referring you.
