Hello everyone, here we go again with another legendary guitar solo, but before the backing track and before I show you the lick in slow motion with the tabs, a few words about what you should know about Slash&solo. What most would probably agree on is that November Rain is one of, if not the best rock ballads of all time, known to almost everyone in the world. Its iconic guitar solo is probably something that even those who have never picked up a guitar before would be able to recall. Not to mention those who might decide to buy their first guitar because of that guitar solo. And finally, let¬ forget those who have spent long, long hours learning Slash&inspiring solo. Virtually all of Slash&guitar licks in the song have something interesting and exciting in them, and for this video I have chosen one of the very distinctive licks at the end of the song. While this section is undoubtedly difficult from a technical point of view, it is perfect for learning, practicing or perfecting the hammer on and pull of techniques, and as such, is ideal for every day warm up routine. The solo at the end of November Rain is built on a chord progression of 5 power chords, with Cm minor as the base chord.
