The following day we return to the coast for a stroll along the beach at Khor Rori, stock up on supplies at the hypermarket in Salalah, then continue south to the spectacular beaches backed by mountains at Fazayah. It’s just as beautiful as we remember from our last trip. Next, we head further south again to explore some places we didn’t manage to visit on our last trip. These include the picture-perfect Shaat Hidden Beach (accessed via a long and rough 4x4 track) and Dhalkut, close to the Yemen border. We find a beautiful coastal camp spot at the bottom of a twisting mountain road and settle in for a gorgeous sunset.
