Leaving Birmingham we cruise in narrowboat Silver Fox alongside the railway and into Bournville, the home of the Cadbury chocolate factory. From there we head left at King&Norton Junction and onto the north of the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal. We enter Brandwood Tunnel with William Shakespeare watching down on us from the north portal, then pass through the suburbs of Birmingham including the Mediterranean looking Dicken&Heath before mooring up at Illshaw Heath for the day.
