The issue is devoted to forming a list of UAV pricing methods based on project milestones in the context of the Design To Cost methodology. The release introduces the concept of the basic project calculation of the product and its components, corresponding to the standard milestones of design engineering documentation development according to GOST 2.103 (pre-design, technical proposal, preliminary design and technical design). Among other things, the issue discusses the concept of such a key cost engineering tool as the BOM (Bill of Material), provides a classification of BOM for conditional "early" milestones of the project and milestones corresponding to the development of a serial design engineering documentation, and also examines the relationship between the stage of transition from a "manual" or non-automated BOM to automated unloading from an ERP or PDM system and a conditional specializations of specialists in the field of cost engineering (cost engineers of "early milestones" and cost engineers of milestones in the development of serial design engineering documentation).
