We all know that a good landscape rose that is healthy, tidy shrub form and floriferious under the high heat and humidity just really hard to come by. When I research and designing my new rose garden, I have spent a lot of time researching on a lanscape rose for the front border of my garden. When Palatine rose listed this rose the first time on their website for sale last December, it really checked all the box for what I want as a front border landscape rose. Therefore, I decided to order and try in my garden eventhough there is no much information about how it grows in the Southeastern garden. I planted it at the front border of my newly design rose garden bed. I am pleased to say that this rose is really the best lanscape rose I ever grow in my garden. Bentheime gold is such a healthy rose with not a single blackspot, very tidy and compact shrub and just keep pumping out blooms after blooms. The only negative will be lack of fragrance. But, I have other fragrance rose around it to make it up. So, it is not really a problem for its purpose in my garden. Highly recommend this rose if you are looking for a rose that required minimum care and just keep giving. It definitely brighten up my rose garden. No regret in planting this rose for sure!
