For the Chinese market, the Volkswagen Arteon went on sale in China since 2017, & it is marketed as the Volkswagen CC. The CC is manufactured by FAW-Volkswagen joint venture, & it is built in Changchun, China. Upon it&initial release, the CC is available in 3 versions for the buyers to choose from Standard, Elegance, & R-Line. Later, a shooting brake version was added to the range, named the CC Travel Edition. Later, a facelift for the CC was launched in 2021.
