Redshift 6 is based on Supercritical Demon Core Oscillator and Neutron Flux Filter eurorack modules, both of which offer huge amount of flexibility for analog oscillators and filters. Supercritical have been able to do this through designing system where they can control character of filters and oscillators under digital control. Which is why this is called variable character synthesizer. It has 5 distinct characters, from smooth and gooey to nasty and dirty howling resonance.
