Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is a non-ionic water soluble polymer obtained through a series of chemical processes from cotton linter (or wooden pulp). Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) has long been used as rheology modifier, water retaining and stabilizer for latex paints. HEC can be used in all types of latex paints from low to high PVC. It suitable for all types of interior and exterior paints.
