🎹 By Grandider Simon, Passchier Nicolas and Decalonne Rémi 🎹 In 2019, the international collective of the Event Horizon Telescope project unveiled the first image ever taken of a black hole or more precisely of its shadow, otherwise known as a "silhouette". This image of the M87 black hole was produced using observational data captured since 2017 by a global network of telescopes. Seeing what a black hole looked like made it more concrete, less theoretical, for the general public. In this video, you will find all the notions necessary to understand black holes but also the mysteries that surround this celestial object.
