This method works whether you just want to upgrade your firmware via command line or your router is totally inaccessible in browser but can still access ssh. -------------- My openwrt router IP add ( 10.0.0.1 ) Change it to the ip address you assigned for your openwrt interface 192.168.1.1 is the default of openwrt -------------- Software needed : WinSCP to transfer the firmware inside " root/tmp/ " Bitvise SSH Client to plot the command line -------------- CLI sysupgrade -v /tmp/firmwarename.bin You can add " -n " to the command if you don&want to retain the existing settings of the firmware and start a fresh install for example : sysupgrade -n -v /tmp/firmwarename.bin ---------------- Note : I&connected to pfsense ( 192.168.1.1 ) via wireless that&why i&monitoring on the said interface, Just checking if I already obtain an address or if the router is ready to use.
