Sony X3000 loss of focus problem [4K]

Apparently a common issue relating to the glue that holds the lens and the sensor together in these cameras becoming weak with age or exposure to heat (like the heat generated when, say, shooting 4K video.) Issue first became apparent on the right hand side of the lens and now affects the entire thing, and objects in the far distance now appear significantly out of focus. Camera was about 6 months old when this problem developed. Currently awaiting a response from Sony support.
