Samba do Grande Amor - Chico Buarque

The time has come once again for me to visit my homeland. As is usually the case on the eve of traveling to Rio inspiration has hit me. Monday morning I fly to Rio for a much needed 3 week vacation. I will spend Christmas with my family in Rio which includes my 88 year-old grandmother. I plan to spend new years pulling an all nighter on the beach of Copacabana along with thousands of other Cariocas. I have also planned a nice trip to Ilha Grande which is a 2 hour drive from Rio. It should be a vacation filled with much family, live music, good friends and much eating and drinking.
