This is a video of the huge tsunami that hit the Harakama district in Soma city. I never dreamed such a tragedy would occur, and within minutes of turning my camera around to record it, the local landscape that my predecessors had built up over decades was completely changed. Seeing with my own eyes that everything including cars, houses, buildings, ships, and people are being swallowed by the tsunami and destroyed in an instant, I feel nothing but fear and despair."
