The new Valeton GP-200LT has finally arrived, and this is the objective review that you need to see! If you are familiar with the Valeton GP-200 you will know that the only real competition to it was the HB DNAfx GiT Pro. The Valeton GP-200 crushes the HB objectively on literally every front: - more amp models - unique controls for each - many more effects - individually movable fx loop SEND & RETURN (HUGE DEAL, it can even allow playing two instruments at once through it, not to mention the flexibility) - adjustable screen brightness (very important for any recording operation) - much better screen - more footswitches and better expression pedal (easier to set) - other advantages The only thing in slightly favor for the HB was price in Europe and smaller size. Enter the Valeton GP-200LT: - 10 euros cheaper than the HB even in Germany (as of 25.10.2022) - more compact than the HB And so the last bastion of the competition crumbled, with everything else either much too poorly featured, way more expensive or even both. At this point, it&clear that the only real competitor to the GP-200LT is the GP-200 itself. At their heart, they&pretty much one and the same, but with different housing and amenities.
