Ford Escape - CABIN AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT / REMOVAL (2008 - 2012)

Video on the location and how to replace / change cabin air filter on Ford Escape SUV. Location of the filter on the second generation of Ford Escape is kind of unusual, but easily accessible. ( 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | XL | XLT | LIMITED | HYBRID ). Cabin air filter is not located in the passenger cabin, but under the front hood. You will have to remove the rubber weather protection cover on the passenger side to be able to access it. Cover is held by a couple of plastic trim screws. Often people will not even be replacing the cabin air filter on this generation of Ford Escape due to location, but it is always recommended to have a fresh filter to make sure you filter all the dust and pollen out of the cabin.
