Both the Ford Bronco and Jep Wrangler are off-road ready body-on-frame SUV built to take on the roughest roads. The Ford Bronco is a little bit longer and wider than the Wrangler and offers more front headroom and legroom, but the Wrangler has more second row space. The Bronco is the winner for overall cargo capacity and cargo space behind the 2nd row.The Jeep Wrangler has five engines to choose from and the Bronco two. The Jeep has a standard 3.6L V6 with a 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 8-speed automatic, 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. There is also a 2L 4-cylinder, a Diesel, PHEV and a 6.4L Hemi V8 in the new Rubicon 392. The Ford Bronco comes standard with a 2.3L Ecoboost engine with a 7-speed manual transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic transmission, 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The manual transmission is not available on two 4-door trims, the base model and top Wildtrak trim, but all other trims get the 7-speed manual on the 2.3L engine. There is also a 2.7L Ecoboost V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission, 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Both the Bronco and Wrangler are equally as capable off-road as they are on road. However, the Bronco offers a smoother drive in the city there is no drifting, it tracks straight on city streets where as the Wrangler tends to wander at times...
