Very happy to lead my author "Shiva Shakti" Dance Meditation on Maha Shivaratri - the great night of Shiva this year 2024 on March 8 at one of the largest International Yoga Festivals in India, Rishikesh in Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Everything worked out in the best possible way and for me this is a blessing and a gift from the Universe, another one of my dreams has come true🙏 Firstly, Rishikesh is my favorite holy spiritual place and the abode of spiritual teachers, where pilgrims from all over the world come for spiritual realisation. The energy is so powerful that just by being here you feel a deep connection with the Source. This place is completely vegetarian, people pray and read mantras here 24 hours and one of my Guru’s ashrams are here🙏 Secondly, Shiva and Maha Shivaratri mean a lot to me, about 15 years of worship, mantras and austerities, dance, music, yoga and meditation - all offerings to Him🙏🔱😇 Thirdly, this is the second performance in the Ashram, which also means a lot to me, since it is not at all easy for a foreigner in India to earn trust, teach and perform in an Indian Ashram. Fourthly, great gratitude and merit to my dear and beloved husband and creative partner, composer Sattyananda from India, who wrote unique music for my meditations, which I also gained thanks to the ascetics of Shiva - this is a unique story that I will tell you later.
