The Battle (from Gladiator) - guitar arrangement by Richard Greig

This is my arrangement of "The Battle" from Ridley Scott&epic movie "Gladiator" featuring Russell Crowe. "The Battle" track from the Gladiator Soundtrack is 10 minutes and 2 seconds long. For my guitar arrangement I just did the last minute and 23 seconds of the track (plus a little intro capturing the timpani part) at the end of the battle shortly before Maximus and the Roman army achieve victory over the Germanic tribes. Hans Zimmer&melody and harmony for this part is simply beautiful and very emotional pulling hard on the heartstrings. This scene and it&accompanying music is one of my top favorite scenes of all time for all movies. I hope you enjoy my arrangement and performance of this beautiful piece and hopefully may it pull on your heartstrings as well.
