From the upcoming South by Southwest festival to diaper Dads uniting online, here’s what happened during the Last Week in Social Media! While Ashton Kutcher is busy starting a revolution to get diaper changing stations in Men’s bathrooms, more Dad’s are gathering on social media to share their own baby experiences. Australian Comedian, Adam Hills started the trend by posting a photo of his daughter’s diaper with the hashtag Smelfie. The Smelfie movement, which garnered hundreds of retweets, is being used to encourage more Men to have a more influential role in raising their child. Definitely an amazing trend, but I think I originally misunderstood it. When this video airs, South By South West will be well underway. Besides flying cars and robots, one presentation will cover why millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars go towards building government websites and how to cut this cost down to thousands. The two covering the topic will be Jennifer Pahlka and Mikey Dickerson, the man who was tasked with salvaging the healthcare.gov website a while back (halo effect).
