Maya and Carina | I'm coming home, bambina (+6x17)

soooo, the ring&finally back and Carina&home, who cheered? I did, obviously. Though, I may not agree with the rushed writing, cause, apparently, s19 writers always tend to put everything in the last episodes, but gotta admit, we got a lot of good quality written drama and fluff with marina this year. The episode, in general sent me to the moon and back, I&felt so many things, especially with Vic&and Beckett storyline, I mean, I did stand Beckett last year, this year, he was less standable, but, this whole thing still was a lot, and I felt empathy towards him. Anyway, yes, the questions with the writing of marina in this episode... I agree to see Maya putting Carina first, BUT, I want verbal confirmation, that she didn&ditch the opportunity ONLY for her wife. I want to see her elaborate on why she did it, meaning that she puts her own needs first, not just does everything to get her wife back. I don&want to see them entering the type straight-couple plot in which a strong and independent woman, who is ambitious, who achieved a lot, suddenly fell in love and left it all behind. Carina has insecurities tied to her whole life, I completely get it. But, Maya wanting her job back (she still does if we remember) shouldn&get in a way with it, it literally can coexist, and fyi Carina does know that. Can&say I have high hopes for the finale, I mean, I&invested in the plot by all means, I just know it will be rushed. That said, I hope WGA strike ends on the guild&terms, not the...
