How To Bench Test A BMW E36 Starter

As I&assembly an M52/ZF for my E36 318ti, im ready to mate the trans to the engine, which means its time to also install the starter. I have a few starters laying that i need to bench test to determine if they work. Althought this isn&a "loaded" test, it still gives me a pretty good idea as to if the starters are going to work or not. This process, with some variance, should work on most starters.
