A playthrough of Ocean&1993 license-based platformer for the NES, The Addams Family: Pugsley&Scavenger Hunt. But are you ready for your eyes to bleed? Pugsley&Scavenger Hunt is an embarrassingly paltry offering from an aesthetic standpoint, with no music in-game for most of its playtime, and a flat, single-color background in most areas instead of any attempt at detailed surroundings. It feels like they got the game play into shape and then, instead of properly finishing the game, they just shoved it out the door as soon as possible. At least the theme song came out pretty well. Lazily thrown together assets and a competent platforming engine makes an oddly uneven game, but it does make for a playable one, however mediocre and ugly. If you want a good Addams Family game on the NES, go grab a copy of Fester&Quest instead. _____________ No cheats were used during the recording of this video.
