I’ve not found a more perfect song to so beautifully display the love, devotion, and growth for both Luz and Camila and their mother/daughter relationship!! ❤️❤️ (also, the “finally understood” scene in “For The Future” has become one of my favorite scenes of all time!!)👌✨❤️🥰🥹😭 I just want to say I appreciate Camila’s character so much! Just, like, the fact that she is one! The typical Disney parent archetype is either “dumb or dead” (tell me I’m wrong) and that’s not what we see Camila in The Owl House. Sure, she may begin in the “dumb” category with her actions in ep1, but she turns around so fast when she realizes what affects that had on Luz, and she’s so accepting and gracious about everything in “Thanks To Them.” Not to mention, she was the first to really recognize what was bothering Luz under the radar and that shows immense growth in her observation and open-mindedness. I don’t even need to explain how incredible it is that Camila recognized her own mistakes in pushing Luz away and that she admits this/apologizes to her face! I mean, come on! 🥹👏✨ I just think it’s the coolest thing to watch a parent be a dynamic character and watch them not only have their own awesome character arc but also benefit so many other characters at the same time!! That’s👏freaking👏cool!👏 P.S.
