In a somewhat alarming and surprising move Oculus stopped selling their flagship product the Oculus Rift in favor of a new product the Oculus Rift S. Launching right along side the Oculus Quest, the Rift S promises to bring roomscale PC VR down to one single wire. Oculus Rift s setup promises to be much simpler than the oculus rift setup while being more accurate. Is Oculus pushing the enveloper for virtual reality? The Oculus Rift S tech specs have us scratching our heads with subpar oculus rift s audio and possibly oculus rift s display. The Oculus Rift S IPD adjustment is also curiously missing.
