How to create .exe or .msi file for a .NET Core WPF app using Visual Studio Installer

In this video I’ll show you how to create a setup.exe or setup.msi file for a .NET Core WPF app using Microsoft Visual Studio Installer project template. Note : This only works when end user computer installed with .Net Core Runtime. Otherwise, when you start the app a dialog box will be shown to the user to download the .Net Core SDK from the official website using a web browser. You can add prerequisite of .Net Core Runtime from properties of setup project, which again shows the same dialog box to download it from the official website using a web browser. It is better to publish the app as a self-contained package which in turn contains all the runtime libraries to run the app. In this case presence of .Net Core Runtime on end user computer is not needed.
