Asus X542U SSD Upgrade Guide

What I do on it is great except for one thing. The thing is Harddisk, 1TB HDD.  Capacity excellent, but speed is lethal slow and hinders the entire laptop. Unfortunately, the laptop does not support NVME PCIe Gen 3 SSD so for example Adata Xpg SX8200 Pro you do not run it, believe me I tried it: D You only need to look for sata m.2 discs up to 512GB. notebook parameters were: Dislay: 15.6 " Processor type: Intel Core i5-8250U Processor frequency: 1.6 GHz RAM: 8 GB Display resolution (px): 1920x1080 HDD capacity: 1000 GB Graphics Card Model: NVIDIA GeForce 940MX Now I have 1.5TB of storage.
