Ibanez EHB1005SMS - Sound Demo

Most people associate fanned fret basses like the Ibanez EHB series with heavy rock music styles, so I wanted to show it can do old school too. Actually, this EHB1005SMS is very flexible for most any music style. Here I&playing "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I&Yours" by Stevie Wonder. I&do a full in-depth overview of the bass soon, but wanted to get something out now. Those of you that are observant will notice that my fingers are not 100% in sync with my bass line - what gives? Yes, it is me playing the bassline you are hearing but I had to shoot the video after I recorded the bassline. I played it as close as possible, but you¬ice deviations. For the recording it was the Ibanez EHB1005SMS direct to an SSL 2+ recording interface (with 4K mode turned on) to Presonus StudioOne 5. I added some minor EQ and compression with a Waves SSL G Channel plugin. Nothing else. In the video, I replayed the bassline through my Carvin amp for monitoring, but none of that audio in on the recording. The EHB1005SMS is an awesome bass - I can&believe how much I&enjoying it. Yes, I bought the bass with my own money, and have no affiliation with Ibanez.
