Introducing the new STIHL MSA 220 T and MSA 220 TC-O, STIHL’s most powerful cordless top handle chainsaws, designed for professional use by trained arborists. The STIHL MSA 220 T models are a fantastic alternative to the petrol MS 201 TC-M chainsaw and are more than capable of cutting large trunks, as well as reduction cuts in the tree canopy. The STIHL 220 T boasts a compact and well-balanced design, making it is easy to handle even in awkward or outstretched positions. The intuitive trigger lockout system is simple to use, and the electronic unlock button is within easy reach of the operator&thumb. The status LED will light up green when the cordless chainsaw is ready for use, and the chain brake LED will light up red when the chain brake is engaged, making it clear when the chainsaw is ready for operation. The machine will deactivate a second after the trigger lockout switch is released, putting the operator in full control of when the machine is live. The MSA 220 TC-O model features a chain oil sensor, designed to alert the user when the chain oil needs topping up via a bright red LED light on the handle display. This helps to prevent premature wear of the guide bar and chainsaw chain, as well as avoiding climbing up the tree to find you have no oil!
