Pennisetum 'Red Head'

This is a super grass that is surprisingly resilient and has shown me a thing or two that I thought wasn&possible when attempting to grow Pennisetum in our northern climate. This is one variety of a handful that I like to use regularly; Pennisetum &it prefers well drained soil but even where we have it in one part of the garden where it&pretty poorly drained it seems to do fine. Well, either way I&recommend it especially for a good late summer/early autumn performance that wont disappoint (love it when you get the low early evening light on it as it is here)
