Mount & Blade Warband - Guide on how to properly siege a city/castle

This video shows the best way to approach a siege in Mount & Blade Warband . In summary what you need to do is : - join siege with archers behind cav & inf , with the companions in front with very good shields - you stay behind your companions&shields and shoot down the enemy archers on the walls - when your archers have no more ammo , retreat - repeat process , until all are dead Notes : - it is recommended to use heavy armor (you may as well succeed with much less armor , but it will take more waves , do it at your own risk ) - must be careful at enemy armies who will try to stop your siege - works on any difficulty and against any type of armies - use a crossbow instead of a bow (for armor penetration and the fact that it doesn&need points to be spent in shooting) P.S. difficulty in video is set on medium .
