Ball mill

Hey guys, This is my ball mill. Cost about $150NZD(90USD) to make, although I found the old motor for free. I have used rubber gas hose cut up and stretched onto the steel axles for grip. The container has two lengths of rubber on it for more grip. This is a very necessary too for even the most amatuer pyrotechnician, and can also be used for other things, including grinding fertilizers and grinding up chemicals for ceramic glazes. The only help I got was the use of a arc welder from my uncle and some pointers, and considering I&only 14 years of age it means it&easy undertaken by anybody. The motor is usually the most expensive thing, so try and find an old washing machine motor. A second axle can be swapped out for small suitcase weels for the container to roll on, but this tends to be slightly rickety, and if you have the money to spare go for the 2nd axle.
