Sat and listened to some great arguments about this track --- A side of B Side release --- 1969 or 1970 - - sold for $8000 or $9000 ---- All i know is that its mint and Top Draw and you can argue among yourselves x Release date is most probably not 1969 since the company was formed in the Fall of 1970 according to this Billboard source : A SIDE - What Now My Love / B SIDE - Cheatin Kind 1969 Snips from research as ive heard many conversations about this track -- John Manship sold this record to an Australian collector for £9000 and Fedexed it. Only to be smashed by the Fedex courier in some way. When Don (RIP) was interviewed at Prestatyn Soul Weekender (Wales UK) in 2004, he was shown a copy of this record and stated that he had never seen one, He said that the tape had been sent to James Vanleer and that was the last he knew of it. if you have or own a copy from 1969, does that mean it&an unofficial copy / bootleg ? I Just watched a documentary about Northern Soul I got with a CD + DVD Set and at the end A Guy Holds Up this and Says He Payed $8000 For It and said It Is Worth every Penny. It Is a Brilliant 2 Disc Set Cat# Is METRSVO11. It Has a Short Film on there called Function at the Junction It has Paul Kaye and Many others You will Recognize to. Like Coast To Coast with Lenny Henry will never be Televised again as the Royalties are to Much. Grab this while You can. H. All i know is Top Draw Northern and love the track x
