Honda CR-X del Sol TransTop / automatic electronic roof close demonstration

Demonstration of my Honda CR-X del Sol automatic electronic TransTop roof mechanism. The mechanism which operates the boot/trunk open and close also functions for the roof open and closure. When opened, the roof stows neatly below the boot cover, being fed into place by two rods which travel forward from the boot to collect the roof. During closure, the rods deliver the roof neatly back over the cockpit of the car, before returning themselves to the boot. Late 80s/early 90s Japanese engineering at its finest!
