Doom 3 frame rate comparison comparing the fps on PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X and the Nintendo Switch. The versions tested were 1.01 for PS4/PS4 Pro, 1.01 for the Switch and 1.0.0.1 for Xbox One/Xbox One. Switch footage is from docked mode. The default fov and flashlight shadow settings were used for all consoles. Timestamps 0:00 - PS4, Switch and Xbox One 7:08 - PS4 Pro and Xbox One X Xbox One X uses a dynamic resolution with the lowest pixel count found being 1920x2160 and the highest pixel count found being 3840x2160. Pixel counts below 3840x2160 are very rare on the Xbox One X with the cutscene at 13:12 being the only point where a drop in resolution was found. PS4 Pro uses a dynamic resolution with the lowest pixel count found being 1920x2160 and the highest pixel count found being 3840x2160. Pixel counts below 3840x2160 are rare on the PS4 Pro, but they do occur more often than on Xbox One X. The PS4 Pro downsamples from this resolution when outputting at 1080p. Xbox One uses a dynamic resolution with the lowest pixel count found being 960x1080 and the highest pixel count found being 1920x1080. Pixel counts below 1920x1080 are very rare on the Xbox One with the cutscene at 6:03 being the only point where a drop in resolution was found. All PS4 pixel counts came to 1920x1080.
