Telex - Spike Jones (maxi version)

Belgian synthpop pioneers Telex formed in 1978 and are possibly best known to a wider audience for their Eurovision Song Contest contribution "Euro-Vision" in 1980 which ended up in 17th place out of the 19 entries. The band consisted of Dan Lacksman, Michel Moers and Marc Moulin. This is the extended 12" version of "Spike Jones", the first of the three singles taken off their fifth album "Looney Tunes" and a tribute to the jazz musician and band leader Lindley Armstrong "Spike" Jones. My copy is the Belgian pressing released by Magic (M 778) in 1986.
