[Final Fantasy: Piano Flashback] ALBUM: Support My Work / Become My Patron: Social Media: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ♫Theme Of Love (Final Fantasy IV Piano Opera)♫ I actually finished playing Final Fantasy IV recently (almost done with FFVI now!), and hence was reminded again of this beautiful work. And so, I decided that I had to learn and record this! This song totally feels like unrequited love. And if there&one character in FFIV that it reminds me of, it has to be Kain... ----- I did choose to play some parts slightly different from the sheet. The main ones were the change in accompaniment style from 1:21 to 1:33 and the tiny cadenza-like passage (lisztian?) addition at 1:40. Also, I know it&tempting to just play that descending scalic passage at 2:50 and 2:56 as a glissando, but I did not. It is less defined/articulated that way, and it makes it easy to lose the intensity which is really important there. Like, I really needed to crescendo that scale down to a rumbling hell bass! Lol. ----- Enjoy this one, and expect more from the Piano Opera series. I think they are much more challenging than the Piano Collections! Music by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged by Hiroyuki Nakayama.
