Alexander Imich,... the world&certified oldest man passed away in his sleep at home,... in the Upper West Side in New York City, according to friends and family. The Polish immigrant was born at the turn of the century in 1903. The Holocaust survivor lost most of his family in Nazi concentration camps during World War Two. In 1942, he and his wife were able to escape from a Soviet Gulag to the U.S., where he worked as a chemist for most of his life. Imich was one of 76 super-centenarians worldwide,.... that&people who live beyond 1-hundred-10 years,... of which, only three were men. The oldest woman, Misao Okawa, is 1-hundred-16 and lives in Japan. When asked about his amazing longevity, Imich said he never drank and credited good genes for his long life. Alright Paul....
