Shostakovich symphony no. 2 (Kondrashin)

This composition is special because of the intension.(Opposite of the first symphony but not less in my opinion)The performance is also special because of the great Yurlov-choir and the great conductor Kondrashin. The sound-engineers had a problem with this recording because of the wide dynamic-range. In the pianissimo&you can&hear what is happening because it is too soft. In the fortissimo&the sound is so big that they had a problem with distortion. I tried to compensate it a little but it did not succeed. May be the sound-quality from this symphony with Rozhdestvensky is better.
