This was an absolutely brilliant day! I had an invite from Bill of The Somerset Searchers to have a days detecting on one of their permissions and to join himself, Nathan and Andy in a sort of multi machine collaboration. I jumped at the chance and I’m very glad I did as we had a great day and even found some things. Nathan took the day with a Roman Fibula, a hammered copper, a spectacle buckle etc etc!! He absolutely trounced us if I’m honest but it wasn’t just about the finds, it was about getting together with like minded people and having a laugh.
